today. jacqueline bennett is here with us now, were getting a bit of a break from the storm at least in the immediate bay area. >>jacqueline: it was nasty up there this morning but yes, finally a break, lighter showers and isolated showers in the north bay. it is not even close to over yet. we will see more scattered showers activity tomorrow, as we head into sunday at powerful storms that to pack another punch to the bay area. the show you what's going on in the north bay. were seeing pop up showers and some are producing small scale like this one. it has a small area of more moderate rainfall. also near vallejo the same amount of rain and north of antioch. let's jump down to the south bay where showers have largely cleared. just light rain at this hour. a water view picture of what's going on, you could see all the heavy rain pushing up towards the sierra. all of the yellow you see in your screen indicates the more moderate to heavy rainfall and pushing again to the east through sacramento and into the sierra. are very nasty conditions in the sierra which probably led to that nasty
